Reporting clinically to the Professional Practice Chief, Physiotherapy and administratively to the Manager, Clinical Services, assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and monitors physiotherapy treatment to patients with incontinence and incontinence-related symptoms and assigns components of treatment to assistants/aides, where appropriate; develops specific therapeutic guidelines, procedures and/or policies for the assigned area and acts as a clinical resource on issues related to incontinence; participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical physiotherapy practice including philosophy, goals, objectives, continuous quality improvement and risk management.
Graduation from an approved school of Physiotherapy. Two (2) years' recent related clinical experience working with patients with incontinence including training in performing intra-pelvic assessments/exams and treatment and developing related therapeutic practice policies/procedures, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC and eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
