As the Lead, Patch Management you will provide thinking, innovative service design, and hands-on expertise to Fraser Health Informatics leaders within a busy consulting portfolio. You will have the opportunity to combine your expertise in IT Service Management as well as Project Management to recommend, develop and implement process and tool improvements that formalize the application patch management process and procedures between FH and other service providers. You will also illustrate strong communications and leadership skills through planning and coordinating patch deployment schedules and activities with FH and other service providers. Your will leverage your technical abilities and attention to detail as you monitor and ensure patch compliance for Fraser Health devices such as servers, workstations, and other network attached devices.
Candidates must have demonstrably strong project management skills involving large-scale or complex initiatives, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and provide detailed documentation. A strong understanding of ITIL and IT Security best practices is preferred.

The Lead, Health Informatics is responsible for leading and managing assigned projects, providing leadership to team members and applying appropriate change management strategies as part of a project. Provides advice, guidance, and direction to an assigned portfolio in the areas of knowledge management, and decision support; in clinical and corporate business areas which includes the development and implementation of application architecture. Provides expertise on enterprise-wide projects, serves as back up to the Portfolio Manager in the area of team leadership.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science or Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Five (5) years of recent experience with business and systems analysis including experience as a project manager. Experience with health and corporate information systems.
