Fraser Health’s New Graduate component of the Practice Transition Program provides new RN/RPN graduates with an opportunity to consolidate their registered nursing practice. We have opportunities for regular and relief part-time and full-time positions with an initial commitment of 6 months in the role.
The program offers mentorship and workshops that focus on critical decision making and provides new graduate networking opportunities.

As part of the New Graduate Nurse (RN/RPN) Program and reporting to the Manager, Health Services, the newly graduated Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) provides nursing care to patients/clients consistent with current Standards of Professional Practice and the Nursing Philosophy of Fraser Health. The RN/RPN plans, organizes and implements nursing care for patients/clients receiving medical and surgical care.
Education and Experience
Graduation in current year from a recognized program in Nursing.
Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
