The Infrastructure Capacity and Planning Architect works with our shared services and vendor partners to plan capacity of our data centre infrastructure and develop & mature services with those partners to meet Fraser Health needs in operating a new primary datacentre that hosts our new health information system Meditech Expanse.
This role will create processes and implement data gathering to inform the operators of our data centres of our growth and sustainment needs by collecting and analyzing growth and the technology projects from our health informatics and information technology teams as well as our client partners across the organization. This will supply information throughout the year to improve our forecasting and budgeting processes.
This architect will collaborate with our service providers in annual planning processes and support Frasers technology needs as we consolidate our datacentres, migrate some applications to cloud and play an important role in application modernization.
As Fraser Health matures and changes its data centre landscape it is searching for an individual who understands data centre operations and planning. This person must be a team player and be able to work in a multi vendor environment and champion Fraser Health in these relationships.
