This role is a casual position located at Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH) in Langley, BC, which is a community hospital with 192 acute beds offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, critical care, ambulatory care as well as 24/7 emergency services with 47,640 visits annually. Langley is comprised of the City of Langley and the Township of Langley, including the village of Fort Langley – the birthplace of BC. In accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards of practice and the Mission and Values of Fraser Health, and working collaboratively with the inter-professional care team in the provision of person-centered care, provides and coordinates pre and post-operative nursing care including assisting with surgical and interventional procedures and discharge teaching for adults and children in an inpatient unit and/or outpatient clinic or setting.
Education and Experience
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing . Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Two (2) years recent relevant clinical experience in the designated clinical area and completion of post graduate course work and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
