We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Mental Health Nurse in our Early Psychosis Intervention program located in the White Rock community.
Our early psychosis intervention (EPI) team is a specialized health care service that provides the best assistance available to young people (13–30) who have recently developed psychosis. The team provides and coordinates all aspects of assessment and treatment based on the Ministry of Health’s Provincial Standards and Guidelines in Early Psychosis Intervention. This comprehensive and supportive service is provided in the community that the client and family live. The EPI team includes a psychiatrist, a community clinician, and other team members that support recovery including: group and family therapist, substance use counsellor, occupational and/or vocational therapist, youth care worker, psychologist, educator, dietitian and others.

Graduation from approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
Two (2) years recent related experience providing treatment services to individuals with mental health and/or concurrent disorders, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. May require completion of substance use certificate program. Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Valid Class 5 BC Driver''s License and access to personal vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
