The Enterprise Architect creates a holistic view of our complex and evolving business/clinical, information, and technology environment. Collaborating with clinical, technical and program leadership the Enterprise architect will develop and maintain a taxonomy and architecture models of our complex clinical information system and it’s associated ecosystem, business/clinical workflows, data models, and technologies. This foundational work will serve as the baseline for future modernization and expand beyond the Advance program as our EA capabilities grow and mature.

The Enterprise Architect shapes Fraser Health's (FH) Information Management (IM) strategy by providing expertise in business, information, application, and technology architecture to ensure that the organization's information systems and investments are aligned with FH business strategy; guides the design of new solutions in accordance with the organization's enterprise architecture (EA) by working with operational and clinical departments to develop and ensure FH's information management strategy and associate processes, information and technology are consistently expressed in the organization's EA models and documentation; partners with business and clinical areas to develop, review and assess transformation proposals and roadmaps to assist FH leadership in making informed decisions.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Health Information Science or related field supplemented with seven (7) to ten (10) years' recent related experience in business analysis, applications/systems engineering, data/information architectures and/or technical architectures and three (3) years' experience as a Solution Architect with experience in the design, development and implementation of IM solutions to meet business objectives in a large complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
